We have been in business since 1964, starting with manufacturing Soda syrups and continuing to grow the company by adding services which are related to this core competency. These other companies include installing and Servicing bar equipment, servicing the soda systems, and supporting our customers with CO2 to use for their systems. Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Floater Delivery/Bulk CO2 Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for transporting bulk CO2 and bag-in-the-box syrups to various customer locations efficiently and safely. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to adapt to changing delivery routes and demands. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, exceptional driving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including bulk CO2 delivery trucks, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation and compliance with transportation regulations. Load and unload bulk CO2 cylinders and bag-in-the-box syrup containers using appropriate equipment and techniques, following established safety procedures. Deliver bulk CO2 and bag-in-the-box syrups to customer sites in a timely and efficient manner, following designated delivery routes and schedules. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and provide exceptional service. Monitor inventory levels of bulk CO2 and bag-in-the-box syrups and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel. Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including delivery logs, invoices, and inspection reports. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the delivery vehicle and at customer sites. Assist with other duties as needed, including warehouse tasks, equipment maintenance, and emergency response situations.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B) with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past five years. Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery or transportation role. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including bulk CO2 cylinders and bag-in-the-box syrup containers (50 lbs. or more) Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Ability to adapt to changing delivery routes and demands. Basic computer skills for completing electronic logs and paperwork. Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.What we offer:
