Job Description :
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver orders to customers in a professional and timely manner and pick and receive products using an RF scanner.
Responsibilities include:
driving, route sequencing, order verification, loading and unloading of orders, return service, providing feedback from customers, pulling orders, locating product and receiving products. This position will be on the road making deliveries approximately 80% of the day. The remainder of the day will be spent working in the warehouse. Delivers material to/ from customers in a safe manner while complying with all laws dictated by DOT Fills or assists in filling customer orders by: picking product using RF gun, ensuring accuracy by scanning bar codes, placing and, or packing product into cartons or onto pallet to provide damage free shipment Maintain positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service that includes accurate and timely delivery of products Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections/ maintenance on assigned truck
Qualifications :
Maintains current required chauffeur driver's license, with an excellent driving record Maintains current Medical Examiner's Certification issued by certified doctor Ability to attend to details Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis Must work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others while driving, loading and unloading vehicle Ability to follow instructions and standard work procedures Dedicated to ensure an extraordinary customer experience Compensation and benefits: Compensation commensurate with experience, to be discussed during the interview process.
