Job Description
Dickinson Homes is seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver for part-time and on-call modular home deliveries. This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired driver, an experienced driver looking for additional work, or someone who wants scheduled driving assignments without committing to a traditional full-time route. Responsibilities Transport modular home sections, building materials, and equipment Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Secure and inspect loads Maintain required logs and documentation Coordinate with our delivery and site teams Safely position trucks and trailers at residential construction sites Assist with basic delivery-related duties as needed Requirements Valid Class A CDL Current DOT medical card Acceptable driving record Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing Commercial driving experience required Oversized-load, construction, equipment-hauling, or specialized-trailer experience preferred Availability for early starts, variable delivery dates, overtime, and occasional overnight travel Dependable communication and attendance Delivery schedules vary, so this role does not guarantee a fixed number of weekly hours.
