Job Description

Westgate Transportation is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Peddle Truck Delivery Driver to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of fuel, accurate documentation and meter readings, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, comfortable working independently in all weather conditions, and committed to delivering reliable service while supporting the growth of our business.
Essential Functions:
Prepares and maintains records (DVIR) in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads Fuel to and from specified destinations. Operates truck in accordance with company safety procedures. During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires. Requires on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response. Must possess a drive, determination, professionalism, and the desire to be a significant factor in growing our business. Maintains the vehicle for a professional appearance. Adhering to the policies in transporting, handling and supplying fuel to customers. Making sure that he and his customers are contented and happy with his and Wesco's service. Comfortable using a computer and other electronic devices (Tablet, iPad). Driving various types of fuel trucks and loading accordingly as per the size of the vehicle. Planning how to load the truck to make the most efficient deliveries. Negotiating time / gallons per mile, in order to prevent time losses and efficiency loss. Traveling and delivering fuel in all types of seasons, whether night or day. Reading the measuring instruments and meters in order to record the readings and quantifying the fuel loaded and delivered. Delivering fuel to the places where the customers instructs. Accountable for the total fuel delivered to the customer and providing proper bill to the customer and office. Documenting the meter readings and quantities of fuel left on the truck at the end of the day. Licensing CDL Class B Tanker Endorsement Hazmat Endorsement Base Compensation Based on Experience.
