Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, i personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and secure orders using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment when necessary. Navigate route driving efficiently using mobile devices for directions, ensuring timely deliveries across designated areas. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders with professionalism, friendliness, and a positive attitude. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries and maintain workplace safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or delays promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving ; familiarity with commercial driving is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with personal vehicle delivery or commercial truck driving is advantageous. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices. Knowledge of traffic laws, adherence to DOT regulations, and experience operating manual transmission vehicles are essential. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent communication abilities. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and order management.
