Job Description

The Delivery Driver is responsible for pulling and delivering products to customers on a regular route or as delivering products needed with minimal notice and retrieving parts and products from customers or other store locations. The driver may assist in other in-store related activities such as checking in freight and non-application parts, mixing paint, processing customer returns, resolving customer concerns, assisting counter customers and taking phone calls.
JOB DUTIES
Ensure accurate, safe and timely delivery and pick-up of productsComplete paperwork accurately and on timeMaintain the company vehicle by periodic washing, keeping the interior clean and organized and by checking engine fluid levels as requiredAssist in-store customers as neededMaintain store appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards, MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skillsMust possess and maintain a valid drivers license and acceptable driving recordMust understand and abide by federal and state driving rules, practices and procedures and have familiarity with the territory for the positionFamiliar with store operating proceduresAutomotive Parts knowledge or sales experience preferred
