Hours Per Week Role Summary:

A delivery driver is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle to transport goods from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries by loading, unloading, and verifying items while adhering to traffic laws and company policies; often requiring excellent navigation skills and customer service interactions to complete deliveries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Load orders for each day's delivery schedule and ensure that orders are delivered to the correct location and customer. May include delivery of sales related items, orders, flyers, etc. Enhance relationships with current customers by providing prompt, professional, and courteous service while making our customers aware of what we provide. Maintain a working knowledge of company products, services, and procedures. Drive light vehicles to deliver parts and pick up supplies. This will include the general upkeep of cleanliness and fuel levels of company vehicles. Suggest improved methods and practices for the business operations when experience and common-sense dictates.

Qualifications:

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Capability to lift and carry packages of varying weight Proficiency in using GPS systems to find addresses quickly Ability to interact with customers in a polite and professional manner Maintain a schedule to ensure packages are delivered on time
