Phenix Marble Company is looking for hard working, positive team players to fill a Part Time Driver position at our Ash Grove, MO location. Position Overview To load and deliver stone slabs and finished stone products locally and regionally and assisting as needed in the fabrication facility. Key Responsibilities In this role, your primary duty will be as driver; on days where there are no deliveries to be made, you will assist in the fabrication facility at the quarry. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Works as a team member with other employees within the facility to ensure a smooth and safe operation, maintaining an awareness of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Healthy Administration). Drive Straight truck w/Moffit forklift and other vehicles to pick up and deliver product. Load and unload vehicles for deliveries, both locally and regionally (primarily day trips with limited overnight travel). Provide exceptional service to customers, serving as a friendly, helpful, and personable representative of the company in all interactions. Operate various pieces of equipment in accordance with organizational procedures and safety regulations. Document regular maintenance of equipment and vehicles to maintain accurate performance records; report preventative maintenance needs for repairs to supervisor. Work with leadership team to coordinate schedule and shift from delivery to fabrication. Key Requirements Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in Phenix training materials. Valid and current Class A CDL or higher required. Previous construction or manufacturing experience preferred. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and visitors at all times. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required, while working independently on assigned tasks. Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Phenix Marble Company employees.
