Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering repaired respiratory equipment to various healthcare facilities and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate would have a passion for helping others, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness. This position will be delivering and picking up equipment 3-4 days per week with some overnight stays. Any workdays when the driver is not on a scheduled route, they will work in the facility assisting production technicians and staff. Lifting of equipment up to 60lbs required. A valid Driver's License is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport repaired respiratory equipment to and pick up equipment for repairs from assigned destinations.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle with care and attention to detail.
• Document all loaded equipment following company procedures.
• Verify the accuracy of equipment lists and delivery instructions before departure.
• Ensure all equipment is secured and maintained during transit.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain delivery records and obtain required signatures and documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving record.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with respiratory equipment is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
