- Home Daily Position Overview Nauser Beverage Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Class A CDL Route Delivery Driver to join our team at our Hannibal, Missouri distribution center.
Our Route Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely delivering beer, soda, and other beverage products to retail customers throughout our distribution territory. This is a hands-on delivery position, not simply a driving job. Drivers are responsible for unloading and delivering product into customer locations, checking in orders, handling returns, and providing professional service to our customers. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on an assigned local route Deliver beverage products to grocery stores, convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and other retail accounts Unload and deliver product into designated customer storage, cooler, or sales areas Accurately check in deliveries and verify orders with customers Collect and properly document returns, damaged products, empty kegs, pallets, and other applicable items Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and daily route documentation Communicate delivery issues, product discrepancies, or customer concerns to management Build and maintain professional relationships with customers Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicle and delivery equipment Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required Clean and acceptable driving record Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move beverage products throughout the workday Comfortable using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and other delivery equipment Ability to work independently and efficiently manage an assigned route Strong attention to detail when handling products, invoices, and returns Professional attitude and strong customer service skills Previous beverage, foodservice, route delivery, or similar experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements This is an active and physically demanding delivery position. Drivers should be comfortable frequently lifting and moving cases of beverages, pushing and pulling loaded hand trucks, entering and exiting the delivery vehicle throughout the day, and working in customer stockrooms, coolers, and receiving areas. Compensation & Schedule This position offers a starting annual pay of $55,000
Drivers work a Monday through Friday schedule averaging approximately 35-45 hours per week . All routes are local, allowing drivers to return home daily. Our drivers are an important point of contact between Nauser Beverage Company and our customers. The right candidate will take ownership of their route, provide excellent service to our customers, and complete deliveries safely, accurately, and efficiently.
