Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Delivery Driver to join our Hospice Durable Medical Equipment (DME) team. This role is responsible for the timely delivery, setup, and pickup of medical equipment in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. This position plays a critical role in supporting hospice patients and their families during sensitive times by providing prompt, professional, and respectful service
Responsibilities:
Deliver, set up, and retrieve hospice DME equipment (hospital beds, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, etc.) Provide basic instruction to caregivers and facility staff on safe equipment use Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and functioning properly Complete delivery documentation accurately and timely Communicate effectively with dispatch and clinical staff regarding delivery status Maintain company vehicle in clean and safe operating condition Participate in on-call rotation as needed Follow all company safety policies and HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Ability to lift and maneuver 75-100 lbs (with assistance when required) Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Experience in medical equipment delivery preferred but not required Hospice, healthcare, or DME experience is a plus
