Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Delivery Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely handling warehouse operations and delivering furniture to customers with professionalism and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to be a vital part of our customer service experience while ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Duties Load, unload, and organize furniture items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures. Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts to deliver products to customers across designated routes. Provide excellent customer service during delivery appointments by assisting with product placement and addressing customer questions or concerns. Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed, utilizing manual techniques or equipment to handle large or bulky items. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier services is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices for efficient deliveries. Physical stamina for manual labor tasks involved in loading, unloading, and moving furniture items.
