Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Route Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate various routes effectively using navigation software. As a Fedex Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of items. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Utilize equipment such as dollies when necessary for loading and unloading packages. Requirements Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required. Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency preferred. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds often and 150 pounds occasionally) throughout the workday. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a some what fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
