Duties Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations. Load, unload, and secure merchandise or packages using proper heavy lifting techniques. Interact professionally with customers, building positive relationships through clear communication and excellent customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure all transportation equipment is in top condition. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while organizing daily schedules effectively. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations. Basic math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management. Proven ability to lift heavy items safely while following proper lifting practices. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising can be advantageous.
