Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery / Warehouse Driver to join our team. This position combines warehouse duties, furniture delivery, and basic furniture assembly to ensure products are handled, transported, and installed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, physically capable, and comfortable driving delivery vehicles and working with furniture. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles (box trucks and vans) to complete timely deliveries. Load, unload, move, and secure furniture and merchandise while following safety procedures. Assemble and install furniture at customer locations as needed (beds, sofas, dining sets, etc.). Navigate assigned routes efficiently and maintain accurate delivery records. Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and installations. Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including organizing inventory and staging merchandise. Keep delivery truck clean and organized. Maintain organized tool bag and ensure all tools are accounted for. Assist with merchandise pickups and returns. Help maintain showroom appearance when needed. Communicate clearly in person and over the phone. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. General Physical Requirements Routinely lift, move, and maneuver merchandise weighing 50-300 lbs (with equipment or team assistance). Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing. Ability to carry furniture up and down multiple flights of stairs. Prolonged standing and driving. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record (manual transmission experience a plus). Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or route driving experience preferred. Furniture assembly or installation experience preferred (training available). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to consistently perform physical labor. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
