Fedex Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver packages along designated routes with precision and care. Safety is not an option, it is a MUST. Load and unload shipments efficiently, handling heavy lifting and moving packages of various sizes and weights Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, answering questions, and maintaining a professional demeanor at each stop Use route navigation tools to follow optimized delivery paths, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the day Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and adhere to all safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain signatures when required, and/or proof of delivery documentation responsibly Requirements Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening (including marijuana), and DOT physical. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with courier roles preferred Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting, moving packages safely, including use of a handcart to perform heavy bulk deliveries Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and prior Fedex/Amazon experience is a plus. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to be flexible with scheduling which includes working weekends, and some holidays.
