Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, utilizing organizational skills to optimize daily schedules. Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper heavy lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service and building positive client relationships. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance revenue opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and documentation in compliance with company policies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and familiarity with commercial truck driving standards. Experience in retail store merchandising or client communication is preferred. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route planning, and inventory management. Knowledge of DOT regulations, heavy lifting safety practices, and automobile transportation requirements. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes. Prior experience in sales or upselling is a plus, demonstrating proactive customer engagement skills.
