Delivery Driver Shift:

Day shift, all seasons Western Building Center of Polson is seeking a hardworking person who takes pride in a job well done. This full-time lumberyard assistant position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Feeling strong? Applicants must be able to lift items weighing 80 pounds. Forklift experience is recommended but not required. Materials and equipment training will be provided. PURPOSE Perform duties pertaining to lumberyard maintenance and customer service. Delivering products to construction and residential sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Maintain and organize inventory in the lumberyard and associated warehouse 2. Assist customers with loading building materials in all weather conditions 3. Unload freight from vendors and distributors 4. Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals. 5. Maintain logs of equipment repair status 6. Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures. 7. Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Clean driving record A drug test will be administered prior to employment
