Job Description
Delivery Driver Position for Golf Carts and Low Speed Vehicles Looking for an experienced delivery driver for golf carts and low speed vehicles. Must be organized and dependable with a clean driving record.
- Delivery driver is primarily responsible for using their experience to deliver and pick-up carts for rentals, sales, and service carts
- A successful delivery driver will use leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team to increase customer care and satisfaction
- The delivery driver will occasionally have direct interaction with customers and deliver superior service through educating the customer about operating their cart
- Occasionally diagnosing small issues in the field and making basic repairs on service and/or rental carts
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training and hands-on sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing golf cart technology
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
- Keep management team aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur for rental carts
- Maintain an organized and neat vehicle to include cleaning up tools and keeping vehicle organized
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules
- The expectation is for the delivery driver to report back and work closely with management team
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
- Safely operates motor vehicles, low speed vehicles, and all other equipment as needed
- Must have experience driving a truck with trailer to transport low speed vehicles if needed
- MUST be willing to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- This is a drug free work place with a Zero tolerance policy
