Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Your primary mission is to ensure timely, safe, and courteous delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and secure goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, handling heavy lifting with proper technique. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time deliveries across designated areas. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns courteously. Verify delivery contents against order paperwork, ensuring accuracy before loading and upon delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of load & unload activities, route details, and any incidents encountered during shifts. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities in a commercial setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable. Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and navigation tools to optimize route efficiency. Ability to lift heavy items frequently and perform physical tasks such as moving goods using forklifts or pallet jacks safely. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with load & unload procedures and warehouse safety protocols. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred; certification as a driver or similar license is advantageous.
