Job Description

At Pittsboro Feed, we're more than a feed store — we're a trusted part of our farming and pet community. Our Delivery Drivers and Warehouse Associates play a key role in keeping our customers (and their animals!) stocked, happy, and cared for across the Triangle. We love our customers — so you can't be shy! Great driving and customer service skills are a must , and a love for animals is always encouraged. You'll spend your days on the road delivering feed, hay, and supplies to local farms, and when you're not behind the wheel, you'll help around the store and warehouse keeping everything clean, organized, and running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Safely deliver feed, hay, and supplies to farms and homes across the Triangle area Load and unload feed bags (30-75 lbs) and hay bales daily Build great relationships with customers through friendly, reliable service Verify invoices, inspect delivery vehicles, and maintain accurate delivery logs Help in the warehouse during downtime — stocking, organizing, and assisting customers Operate trucks (and preferably trailers) confidently and safely
Schedule:
Full-Time (40 hrs/week) with
Possible Overtime Monday-Friday:
10:00am-6:00pm No Saturdays & Sundays. No late nights.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting at $17/hour + bonus opportunities Health insurance (50% employer-paid after 90 days) Simple IRA with employer matching after 1 year
