Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Delivery Driver/Sales professional to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, delivering premium delicatessen products to customers while also providing exceptional sales support. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help build strong customer relationships, drive sales, and ensure timely deliveries. Duties Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products to retail stores and commercial clients across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Assist customers with their purchases while suggesting new or additional products or services to enhance their experience and increase sales. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and client interactions while following organizational procedures. Conduct merchandising activities at delivery sites, including product placement and inventory checks. Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication, addressing questions or concerns promptly. Perform light to heavy lifting as needed, ensuring safe handling of all goods. Skills Strong knowledge of food service is preferable to maximize revenue opportunities. Proven experience in commercial driving, route planning, and client communication within retail or delivery environments. Basic math skills for calculating costs, change, or measurements accurately during transactions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Organizational skills for managing delivery schedules, route driving, and merchandising tasks efficiently.
