Job Description
Friesen Distribution is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Distribution Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to dealerships, repair facilities, body shops, and wholesale customers throughout our service area. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent customer service while representing the Friesen Automotive group. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies. Deliver automotive parts accurately and efficiently to assigned customers and dealership locations. Load, unload, and verify parts against invoices and delivery manifests. Utilize company delivery software, including Elite Extra , to manage daily routes and delivery documentation. Log into assigned routes before departing the distribution center and maintain accurate route status throughout the day. Record arrivals, departures, and completed deliveries within the routing system. Obtain and document proof of delivery, including photographs and customer signatures when required. Verify that all parts being delivered match the invoice and customer order before delivery. Process returns, cores, and pickup requests according to company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Assist with warehouse duties, stocking, order pulling, inventory organization, and other operational tasks as needed. Maintain professional communication with customers, coworkers, and management at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate assigned routes efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Basic smartphone and computer skills required. Ability to lift, carry, and move automotive parts weighing up to 75 pounds. Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills. Previous delivery, warehouse, or automotive parts experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of automotive parts and supplies. Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Ability to work in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
