Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Automotive Parts Driver to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts efficiently and safely to our customers, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Your role is vital in supporting our parts operations and ensuring that parts reach their destination promptly while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Duties Safely operate our parts truck and automotive parts across designated routes. Load and unload parts using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Verify delivery orders, ensure correct items are loaded, and accurately document deliveries using mobile devices or delivery logs. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company safety policies during all driving activities. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation; report any mechanical issues promptly. Support warehouse operations by assisting with inventory movement, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization when not on delivery routes. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving material handling equipment operation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting. Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safe lifting practices in the workplace. Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities. Physical capability to lift heavy loads regularly while following safe lifting practices; ability to move items using pallet jacks or other manual handling tools.
