This role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics operation, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service. As a delivery driver, you'll utilize your driving skills and manual handling expertise to load, unload, and deliver packages efficiently, all while adhering to safety and traffic regulations. Duties Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle for local delivery routes, ensuring timely package delivery to residential and commercial customers Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Follow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, route optimization, and delivery tracking Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities Provide excellent customer service by confirming deliveries, answering questions politely, and ensuring customer satisfaction Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly Load & unload packages efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injuries Requirements Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and courier services preferred Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and moving packages safely Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and weight handling in the workplace Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stretch throughout the shift Join us in delivering excellence!
