Job Description

SUMMARY Our client is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support deliveries throughout the NY/NJ Metro area while assisting with warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position that combines local driving with shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and general warehouse support. Drivers are an important part of the customer experience and play a key role in ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver and pick up customer orders throughout the NY/NJ Metro area Load, unload, and verify shipments for accuracy Secure cargo safely for transportation Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain required driver logs Follow all DOT and company safety procedures Communicate delivery delays or issues to the warehouse/customer service team Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed Work as part of the warehouse team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude during deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous delivery driving experience preferred (Non-CDL) DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one) Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Comfortable using GPS, routing software, and mobile technology Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
