Our mushrooms are harvested and delivered the same week, often the same day. We're hiring a driver to get them from our grow rooms to chefs, retailers, and customers across northern New Jersey. This is a good fit if you know your way around North Jersey roads, and take pride in handing off a product that looks as good as when it left the farm. What You'll Do Load and deliver fresh mushrooms to restaurants, grocers, and residential customers on a set route Keep product cold and undamaged in transit using the insulated totes and ice packs we provide Check orders against the packing list before leaving, and confirm each delivery on arrival Handle customer contact at the door professionally — you're often the only person from the farm a chef sees that week Log deliveries, note any refusals or shorts, and report back same-day Help with harvest, packing, and cleaning between routes (roughly [X]% of the shift) What You Need Valid NJ driver's license and a clean driving record (we'll run an MVR check) Your own reliable vehicle with enclosed cargo space — SUV, hatchback, minivan, or van. A sedan with a small trunk won't work, especially in summer. Current auto insurance, and willingness to confirm with your carrier that you're covered for delivery use Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet through the shift A working smartphone for routing and delivery confirmation Reliability above all else.
