Flocktown Farm is an organic fruit and vegetable farm located in Pittstown, NJ -- an hour from NYC and Philadelphia. We grow exclusively for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and plant 100 acres of our 300 acre farm. We sell a weekly subscription box of fresh produce from our farm. The delivery driver is responsible for packing the van each day and dropping those boxes at our customer's doors throughout North and Central NJ, Pennsylvania and Staten Island. The position begins in May and ends the last week of November, but returning crew members are entitled to draw on our unemployment insurance during the off-season. All employees are entitled to free produce, bread, eggs and a discount on all other grocery items. Delivery work week is Tuesday-Friday, with the option for farm work Monday with the crew. Delivery routes are 7.5-8.5 hours of drive time with approximately 30 minutes loading the van in the morning. •Please note that this position is a flex position. When not driving, the individual will be a part of the farm field crew. This is a great opportunity for those who love variety in their work schedule and are interested in learning about organic farming! Qualifications Clean driving record required. Background check required. No CDL required. Our delivery vehicles are Ram Promaster vans so some experience driving larger vans and vehicles is preferred. Drivers must have their own smartphone. Our delivery driver represents our business and must be clean, presentable, and friendly. Details $16-$18/hr DOE. Farm Crew work week is Monday-Friday, approximately 40-50 hours per week.
