Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products promptly to retail stores, clients, or designated locations, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Build positive relationships with customers through professional communication and attentive service. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths and maintaining organizational skills for timely arrivals. Assist with merchandising efforts at retail locations, including product placement and inventory checks. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of packages or merchandise using safe techniques to prevent injury. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred. Strong knowledge of driving routes, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe transportation practices. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and delivery quantities accurately. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and customer needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physical stamina is essential. Organizational skills to manage schedules, delivery documentation, and route planning effectively.
