May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

$21.01-$21.51/Hourly Benefits:

We offer the opportunity to enroll in the 403(b), voluntary Aflac policies, sick time, and paid time off.Job Responsibilities:
- Transport participants to and from their homes utilizing agency vehicles.
- Submit all receipts, mileage and attendance records weekly.
- Maintain vehicle according to manufacturer's guidelines and in safe, clean working order.
- Maintain a safe environment and act as an advocate and role model to all participants.
- Abide by and maintain a working knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
- Complete forms/documentation as required.
- Respond to requests for services, assistance and information.
- Promote a safe environment in all service settings; consistently apply universal precautions; inform Vocational Program Administrator of safety issues.
- Cooperating fully with licensee and Department of Human Services staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation.
- All employees are required to immediately notify their supervisor of any changes in their official driving status, which includes without limitation the assessment of any points on their license, or the suspension or revocation of their license for any reason.
- To perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Vocational Program Administrator, Senior Vocational Program Administrator and/or Executive Director.
- You must be able to pass all background checks including Drug screen, physical, PPD, fingerprints, DMV.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid NJ Driver's License with an acceptable record of safe driving
- High School Diploma / GED (verifiable)
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Comfortable with assisting individuals with hygiene and medical routines.
- Able to lawfully and safely drive an agency vehicle in all traffic situations and weather conditions.
- Exhibits ability to think quickly and act calmly in emergency.
- Must be able to successfully complete all required training in the required time allotted.
