Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler and Delivery Driver to join our team in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers, while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, ensuring that all products are properly stored and organized utilizing our handheld barcode scanners. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can effectively communicate with team members and customers to ensure we provide exceptional customer service. The compensation range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour. Please note that the compensation range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license, CDL not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse, driving, or customer service role. Ability to operate a Forklift certification or other warehouse equipment. Ability to operate a box truck and/or cargo van. Knowledge of safety regulations in warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
General warehousing duties include staging and receiving incoming shipments, picking customer orders, and shipping orders according to customer requirements. Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored. Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and warehouse storage areas. Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse and at customer sites. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process.
