Job Overview Join a dynamic delivery team as a Delivery Driver with an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face delivering packages to customers' doorsteps, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Your role is vital in creating positive experiences for our customers and supporting the seamless operation of our delivery network. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages efficiently using manual handling techniques. Plan and follow optimized delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols before and after shifts. Handle heavy lifting safely during loading, unloading, and moving packages within warehouses or delivery vehicles. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents during your shift, ensuring clear communication with dispatch teams. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, warehouse operations, or commercial truck driving is highly desirable. Experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and delivering customer packages. Knowledge of traffic laws and adherence to DOT regulations for weight handling and safe driving practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients. Ability to work independently in route driving environments while maintaining safety standards at all times. Valid driver's license suitable for operating commercial vehicles or personal vehicles used for delivery purposes.
