A DAY ON THE JOB

You are a delivery driver. Here is what that actually looks like: Start at our west Albuquerque delivery center around 9:40 AM. Clock in, inspect your van, load your route. Head out on a mapped route through the greater Albuquerque communities. A handheld device tells you where to go and what goes where. Deliver to houses, apartments and businesses. You are in and out of the van all day long. Lift up to 50 lbs on your own, up to 70 lbs with a hand truck. Work in whatever the weather is doing — summer heat, winter snow, New Mexico monsoons. Come back to the station, close out your van and go home. This is a physical job and we would rather tell you now than have you find out in week one. You are on your feet and moving for most of your shift. It takes no particular age or physique, but demands the right attitude. People who like staying busy and being outside do well here. People looking for a desk do not. You are also the one person the customer sees. Being decent to people at the door is part of the work, not extra.

Wednesday Back Half:

Wednesday through Saturday (a weekend day is expected) 4-day work week, 8-10 hour shifts, flexible schedules — work/life balance! Current shifts start around 9:40 AM

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

21+ years old (DOT requirement) Valid driver's license Able to lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs with hand truck) Comfortable getting in and out of a van all day Eligible to work in the U.S. Pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening — we do not test for THC Can thrive both in a team environment and as an independent problem solver A good attitude. That one is not optional — we hire people our team wants to work beside.

Delivery experience: UPS, FedEx, OnTrac, USPS Gig work: DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, Postmates, Grubhub Warehouse experience Same job you would do anywhere else. Different place to do it.
