Delivery Technician Sierra Oxygen Service Carson City, NV Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Interpersonal skills Moving High school diploma or GED Schedule management Driver's License Warehouse experience Time management Full Job Description Delivery technicians' responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers and medical providers May complete appropriate home safety evaluation and patient/caregiver education for home oxygen equipment and other home medical equipment. Performs equipment setup, orientation, and demonstration of the safe operation and use of oxygen and home medical equipment. Assists in general warehouse duties such as but not limited to stocking, rotating inventory, receiving, shipping, and processing equipment and supplies Accurately picks and/or compiles ordered supplies and equipment. Obtains all related documentation/technology, patient education materials, and other required paperwork for the delivery. Organizes delivery routes to maximize timely deliveries to meet the therapy and patient schedules Calls patients/caregivers to schedule deliveries. Informs patients/caregivers if the agreed upon timeframe cannot be met. Obtain return demonstration from the patient/caregiver to ensure adequate and safe knowledge of the ordered equipment Picks up discontinued equipment. Maintains a clean delivery vehicle and brings vehicle into scheduled appointments for maintenance. Assists with warehouse duties such as maintaining inventories, shipping, receiving, placing orders, cleaning equipment, and facility maintenance Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs unassisted and pass a pre-employment physical exam.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record Must be 21 years or over. Previous delivery and/or warehouse experience preferred Must possess strong organizational and time management skills Must be available to work flexible hours and alternative shifts Must be available to work on call, overtime hours as needed Must be able to work every other weekend on call Must have excellent verbal communication skills Ability to use mobile devices such as a smart phone and tablets
