Job Description

2 Open Positions - 20 hours per week The Kitchen Aide/Van Driver will aid with the preparation of food as well as perform various cleaning, stocking etc. The delivery driver will deliver meals to Home Delivered Meals customers in accordance with established routes and guidelines. In addition, the driver will perform a basic observation of the customer upon delivery and report any noticeable concerns to the supervisor. Ideal skills Able to prepare meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients. Maintain the cleanliness of dishes, workstations, and food storage facilities. Package meals in portions. Maintain strict level of confidentiality. Ability to interact with customers form a variety of backgrounds and have the capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction in written and oral form. High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in food service, food preparation, or food safety is recommended but not required. The ideal candidate must have a driver's license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
