Job Description
Job Overview Join our pet care team as a Part-Time Dog Kennel Helper and Driver! In this role, you will be vital in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our guests while providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your responsibilities will include caring for dogs in our kennel facility, and safely transporting animals to and from our location. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to engage with dogs daily, and contribute to a caring pet community. We are looking for motivated individuals who love animals, enjoy physical activity, and thrive in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and supervision of dogs as needed Handle dogs to ensure safety for both pets and staff during routine procedures and transport Maintain cleanliness of kennels, common areas, and equipment to ensure a sanitized pet care environment Safely operate company vehicles to transport dogs to and from home. Qualifications Prior experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, pet sitting or pet grooming is highly preferred Knowledge of animal behavior, and basic handling techniques Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving company vehicles is advantageous Hours may vary from day to day and can be flexible. 2pm-5pm
