Fishkill, NY - MON-SAT 8-5 Automatic Appliance in Fishkill is seeking a reliable and skilled Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and installing appliances to customers while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle equipment related to installation and delivery.

NO CDL REQUIRED, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE OR BE ABLE TO PASS EXAM FOR DOT MEDICAL CARD TO DRIVE BOX TRUCK

Duties Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured during transit. Install appliances upon delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with delivered equipment. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes. Skills Must be able to lift and move heavy appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, ac's, etc...) Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in appliance installation/repair. Ability to install various appliances efficiently. Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
