Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties Operate a box truck or delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and organization of items. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient loading and unloading. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is advantageous. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, particularly with heavy lifting tasks. Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with clients. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
