This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various customer locations, ensuring excellent service and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, customer service, and warehouse operations, with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. A valid driver's license and familiarity with route driving are essential for success in this position. Duties Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to complete scheduled routes. Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of items. Deliver products to customers' locations while providing exceptional customer service. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and order picking when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Experience Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or route driving roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally interact with clients. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting techniques. Experience operating commercial vehicles with manual transmissions is desirable. Proven ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Valid driver's license required; a clean driving record is preferred. Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving heavy items and performing heavy lifting safely.
