Delivery Driver - Auto Parts Store (Ilion, NY)

Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver auto parts to various locations within the designated route area Load and unload auto parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed Load deliveries accurately according to route plans, verifying orders against delivery manifests Deliver parts promptly while maintaining professional communication with customers to ensure a positive experience Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules, adjusting plans as needed for traffic or unforeseen delays Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and documentation of any issues encountered during routes Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably in an auto parts or warehouse environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is preferred Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools for efficient deliveries Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks such as moving auto parts and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus Experience with heavy lifting, moving inventory, and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced setting Join us and become part of a team dedicated to delivering quality auto parts with enthusiasm and professionalism!
