You'll be responsible for transporting packages using box trucks and ensuring each delivery is handled with care and precision. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes. Load and unload shipments efficiently using tools like pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients during deliveries. Follow route instructions accurately to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all safety protocols. Manage manual transmission driving with skill, ensuring smooth operation throughout the delivery process. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving packages, organizing shipments, and maintaining inventory records when required. Experience Prior delivery driver experience or courier roles preferred, with a strong focus on route driving and heavy lifting. Hands-on experience with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards for box trucks and heavy vehicles. Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting heavy packages and moving items using forklifts or pallet jacks. Demonstrated customer service skills, maintaining professionalism during interactions with clients. Valid driver's license suitable for operating a driver vehicle; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
