Based on experience Job Overview AshleysSweetTreats is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Delivery Driver & Event Setup Associate to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely transporting custom cakes, dessert orders, catering packages, and event supplies while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate must be punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling delicate baked goods and assisting with event setups. Responsibilities Deliver custom cakes, cupcakes, dessert platters, catering orders, and specialty items to customers and event venues. Load and unload products safely to prevent damage during transportation. Set up dessert tables, displays, and event décor according to company standards. Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition. Communicate professionally with customers, venue staff, and team members. Verify orders before leaving the bakery and obtain delivery confirmations when required. Assist with breakdown and pickup of event items when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles. Support bakery operations during non-delivery hours, including light prep, packaging, and inventory assistance. Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong time management and organizational skills. Weekend and holiday availability preferred. Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go. Previous delivery, catering, hospitality, or event experience is a plus. Must be professional, dependable, and represent AshleysSweetTreats positively in the community.
