Part-time Role & Responsibility Role:
Delivery Driver Reports to: Operations ManagerSUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
Load and deliver kegs and cases to wholesale accounts, and warehouse duties as needed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Friendly / positive attitude / Works well with others Hard worker / Willingness to be part of team Good communicator and listener Valid driver's license Ability to lift 160lbs repeatedly delivering product Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks a plus. Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb during shifts Knowledge of Upstate New York and the surrounding area. Experience driving larger vehicles is a plus but is not a necessity. Ability / comfortability with working solo, as a large part of the day will be spent delivering beer across the Upstate New York area. High school or equivalent (Preferred)QUALIFICATIONS
Delivering product to customers per customer invoice. Rotating stock at on and off premise accounts where necessary. Operating a pallet jack Loading and unloading of your delivery vehicle. Develop and follow routes and time schedules. Prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery van. Complete logs and reports as needed. Maintain ongoing communication with sales manager Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy. Inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities. Refuel vehicle as needed with company card. Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times. Collect money from accounts when necessaryWORKING CONDITIONS
This is a part-time position working in a seasonal delivery environment. This position requires the employee to interact with the public in a friendly and welcoming manner and at times may require dealing with intoxicated, unruly or unpleasant people. This job requires a flexible weekly schedule including days, evenings, nights and weekend. Compensation starts at 18$/hour with discounts on merchandise and beer.Job Type:
