Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Engage with customers professionally, answer questions, and build positive relationships to enhance client satisfaction. Manage heavy lifting and merchandising tasks with proper techniques to ensure safety and efficiency. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize customer value. Organize delivery schedules, plan routes for optimal efficiency, and adapt to changing priorities as needed. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or retail store delivery is preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, pricing strategies, and basic math for accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills for clear client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Experience in customer service environments, especially in retail or automobile transportation sectors. Familiarity with DOT regulations and traffic laws relevant to commercial driving. Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently and maintain detailed records.
