Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong customer service skills, as you will interact with clients and represent our company during each delivery. A commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage during transit. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for moving heavy items within the warehouse and during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential for this role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
