Transit Delivery Driver Alliance Auto Parts, Inc., a proud member of Team PRP-NE with over 230 participating recycling facilities around the country, is a steadily growing company since 1976 and is part of the automotive recycling industry which is the 16th largest industry in the U.S positively contributing to Green sustainability. Alliance Auto Parts is looking for a dependable, experienced and professional Transit Delivery Driver with an excellent work ethic and clean driving record who is a team player. A casual work environment Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Paid Sick Leave Structured company bonuses Competitive compensation A clean and professional work environment Responsibilities of the position include: Complete necessary training modules with supervisor Delivery routes may include Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, New Jersey, Nassau County, Suffolk County and/or Connecticut (15-20 stops/day) Unload delivery van as necessary (daily) Load delivery trucks and/or vans as necessary with return parts from customers (daily) Read and record necessary data in provided device to ensure standard delivery and route compliance Comply with Dispatch Operations Manual (D.O.M.). Clear communication with drivers, customers, vendors and staff Maintain and properly organize, file electronic and/or hard copy records Build and maintain trusting relationships with employees and other department heads contributing to a positive team environment
Schedule:
M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM (1 hour lunch) Required skills and qualifications: Excellent dependability Excellent attention to detail Team player with professional communication skills Knowledge of vehicle parts is a plus! Ability to lift 50lb. Valid, Clean and updated NY Drivers license and driving record is a must Bi-lingual is a plus, but not necessary 1+ year experience driving an oversize vehicle/van
