Local Delivery Driver Lakeside Supply Company Cleveland, OH Job Details 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication Driver's License DOT Physical Certification Full Job Description Local Cleveland wholesaler of plumbing, heating & industrial supplies is hiring to fulfill a non-CDL delivery driver position. Monday-Friday only 7:30am-4pm or until the route is completed. (This could change to an earlier start time) Must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record. Must possess a DOT Medical card
Job Purpose:
Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, safely operating vehicle, and maintaining records of delivered items.
Duties:
Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition. Follows all safety procedures including performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Load and unload trucks as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule. Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints. Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
