Job Summary Join our team as a Part-Time Sunday Meal Delivery Driver and become a vital part of bringing nutritious, delicious meals to our community! You'll be responsible for safely delivering meals using box trucks or similar vehicles, ensuring timely and courteous service. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmissions, to transport meals across designated routes Load and unload meal packages efficiently using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Load deliveries accurately, verifying orders against delivery manifests to prevent errors Deliver meals directly to customers' homes or designated locations, providing friendly and professional customer service Follow planned routes diligently, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions to ensure on-time delivery Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle, performing routine inspections before and after shifts Complete all delivery documentation accurately and report any issues or delays promptly Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred Prior delivery driver experience, especially with route driving and load & unload tasks Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission Knowledge of safe driving practices and heavy lifting techniques for moving meal packages Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes and moving items using forklifts or pallet jacks if certified Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and safety protocols This position offers a rewarding chance to contribute directly to community well-being while enjoying the flexibility of part-time weekend work.
