Job Description

Job Purpose:
  • Support the parts department by ensuring timely, accurate delivery and pickup of parts between the dealership, vendors, and repair shops, helping keep service and collision operations running smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up parts between dealership locations, vendors, and body shops on scheduled routes.
  • Verify parts orders for accuracy before delivery.
  • Load and unload parts safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain necessary signatures upon delivery and pickup.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and driving regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dealership staff, vendors, and body shops to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist with inventory management and parts organization when necessary.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Education:
  • Vocational training or coursework in automotive parts/logistics preferred but not required.
Required Experience:
  • No prior experience required; entry-level position.
  • Prior driving, delivery, or dealership parts experience a plus.
Preferred Experience:
  • 6+ months experience as a parts driver, courier, or in a dealership parts/service department preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry parts up to 50 lbs.
and navigate local delivery routes efficiently and safely.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and basic DMS/inventory systems.
  • Strong customer service skills when interacting with vendors and body shops.
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with route-planning ability.
