In this role, you will be the friendly face delivering beautiful floral arrangements to our valued customers, ensuring each delivery is handled with care and professionalism. Your enthusiasm for customer service combined with your driving expertise will help us brighten our clients' days while maintaining efficient delivery routes. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your driving skills and attention to detail will make a real difference. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to transport floral orders to customers across designated routes Load and unload floral arrangements and related materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Adhere to safe lifting practices when handling flowers, boxes, and delivery equipment, minimizing risk of injury or damage Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift Use mobile devices or GPS systems for route navigation, tracking deliveries, and updating delivery statuses in real-time Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role with a focus on flower or package delivery preferred Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous for loading/unloading procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks is highly desirable Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving floral arrangements safely Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safe driving practices Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Comfortable using mobile devices for route management and communication during deliveries Join us as a Flower Delivery Driver and become an essential part of spreading joy through beautiful blooms!
